Delete Your Account

You can delete your AtomicQuests account and all associated data at any time. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Option 1 — Delete in the App (Recommended)

Follow these steps in AtomicQuests:

Open the app and go to the Profile tab
Tap Settings
Scroll down and tap Delete Account
Type DELETE to confirm
Tap Delete permanently

Your account and all data will be deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

Option 2 — Request Deletion via GitHub

If you cannot access the in-app deletion flow (e.g. you no longer have access to the app), open a deletion request on our public issue tracker:

Steps:

Go to github.com/mattiasmalmborg/atomicquests-legal/issues/new
Title the issue: Account deletion request
Include the email address associated with your account
Submit the issue

We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data Gets Deleted

Your account and authentication credentials
All quest completions and XP history
Habits and habit completion logs
Challenges and challenge progress
Streak data and substance levels
Daily mood logs
Achievements and rewards
Friend connections and social data
Activity feed entries
All local data on the device

Warning: Account deletion is permanent. All your progress, streaks, levels, and history will be erased and cannot be recovered.

Retention After Deletion

Once deleted, your data is removed from our servers within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate statistics (no personal identifiers) may be retained for service improvement.
